About
For the 19th time the CaDance festival shows current developments in the rich Dutch dance landscape, with a program that includes no fewer than 11 world premieres and 2 Dutch premieres. From January 25 to February 9, up-and-coming and leading dance makers share their perspective on the world with a wide audience. The festival opens with two world premieres by Samir Calixto and Ryan Djojokarso.
With the festival theme New Stories, this edition CaDance draws attention to the new stories that are told in the language of the body; by today’s makers, for today’s audience, about the world we live in now. The festival theme is also fully woven into the popular 4×4 program that takes the audience on a dance route through The Hague.
