Het Alziend Oor

De Rotterdam Connectie / Productiehuis Rotterdam

Light design for a music theatre piece by John Buijsman & band.

About

How amazing music must sound if you can’t see. Het Alziend Oor (“The all-seeing ear”) is a musical theatre performance loosely inspired by the story of blind American saxophone player of colour (Rahsaan) Roland Kirk, played by five live musicians (John Buijsman + 4). A show about the soulful and positive force of music in our existence. At the same time it’s an ode to the beauty of life itself.
